Answer: C. seed

Explanation:

A seed is a precursor of new plant growth as it enclosed in itself the plant embryo after the process of fertilization of the male gamete pollen with the female gamete egg. The formation of seed is a characteristic feature of spermatophytes like gymnosperms and angiosperms. A seed typically composed of necessary nutrients which will sustain the young embryo and helps in the germination process. The hard protective coating prevents the loss of water from the seed so as to sustain the young embryo until it get germinated.

Explain why the scientific method may not follow the exact same step each time through the process.
kherson [118]

Answer:

The scientific method may not follow the exact same steps each time because experiments are different. Some may have many more steps to follow to reach the conclusion, while others may take less time and have less steps. For example, some experiments may require a chart or graph of the results to be made, while others do not need that to display the results

What is a coniferous tree?
JulijaS [17]

The main aspect used to differ coniferous tree are their leaves. Coniferous leaves look like elongated needles, instead of the regular flatend out leaves we're used to

Further characteristics:

Seeds are hard and grow in large groups, stuck to eachother.

Coniferous are evergreen trees (don't shed leaves nor change the colour of these, although this rule does not apply to all of them).

They have spread worldwide.

Can withstand low temperaurees and can be found even in places like the Artic circle.

I've pasted some images down below that might help you a lot. (Left - leaves; Right - coniferous trees).

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!
