The purpose of a works-cited page is to ensure that the reader knows the project was researched.

Works cited pages appear at the end of any research paper. They are a list of sources used in the research paper.

The works-cited pages are written in MLA ( Modern Language Association) style.

The entries should be arranged in alphabetical order, not numbered and flush with the left margin. They should always include: the author, the title of the source, other contributors, version, number, publisher, publication date and location.

D). People are sometimes labeled by where they live.

 • The theme also called the central idea of the given excerpt from the text "The Outsiders" is that the people are often identified by their locality or the place they live in.
 • The description regarding the use of different terms for people living in distinct regions(East-side or West-side).
 • The terms 'jet set' for referring to the West-side elite kids and 'greaser' for East-side boys displays that the latter are seen inferiorly due to their locality.
