Answer:

When carbon dioxide is released into the environment, typically due to human activities and respiration in animals, it gets trapped in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is just one greenhouse gas, but as all of the gases accumulate in the Earth, the temperature begins to rise globally. There are many implications to this, including the melting of glaciers, bleaching of corals, and increasing necessity for air conditioning systems and ventilation. When glaciers melt, they become a part of the ocean, meaning that as more glaciers begin to thaw out, the ocean will being to grow up and out. As sea levels rise, humans and animals are left with no choice but to being moving to higher points of elevation to avoid sinking. Another consequence of glacial melting is the loss of habitat for animales in many environments. Those living in glacial areas will begin to lose the snow and ice they are built to withstand. Those living near the sea or at low points of elevation will lose their habitats as it sinks deeper into the ocean. Another problem with global warming is coral bleaching. As the ocean warms up from the rising temperature, corals will being to overheat until they become ”blaeched’ whihc essentially means that they die. Lastly, global warming will create an increasing necessity for air conditioning systems and ventilators. People who do not have access to these things or cannot afford them can risk health complications. Global  warming is a problem that cannot be ignore and the world needs to take more steps to plant trees and grasses that can photosynthesize the carbon dioxide into oxygen.

kicyunya [14]

Answer:

1.A

2.C

3.D

4.C

5.A

Explanation:

1.There are some characteristics that are inherited from your parents, shape of blood cells is one of them. In sexual reproduction, offspring are formed when sperm of male combine with egg of female organism. Therefore, some characteristics comes from male organism and some from female organism. In sexual reproduction, diploid organism is formed because half of genes comes from male and half comes from female.

2.Heredity, also called inheritance or biological inheritance, is the passing on of traits from parents to their offspring; either through asexual reproduction or sexual reproduction, the offspring cells or organisms acquire the genetic information of their parents

3.A monk, Mendel discovered the basic principles of heredity through experiments in his monastery's garden. His experiments showed that the inheritance of certain traits in pea plants follows particular patterns, subsequently becoming the foundation of modern genetics and leading to the study of heredit

4.Mendel made sure to study 30,00 pea plants when he presented his data to the community. Another example is when Mendel painstakingly removed all of the immature anthers from the plant’s flowers before the cross.Mendel used seven pea plant traits in his experiments which include flower color (purple or white), flower position (axil or terminal), stem length (long or short), seed shape (round or wrinkled), seed color (yellow or green), pod shape (inflated or constricted), and pod color (yellow or green).

5.A pea plant could have a copy of the height gene that coded for "tall" and a copy of the same gene that coded for "short." But the tall allele is "dominant," meaning that a tall-short allele combination would result in a tall plant

Earth is special because it is an ocean planet. Water covers 70 percent of Earth's surface. Earth's atmosphere is made mostly of nitrogen and has plenty of oxygen for us to breathe. There are multiple reasons for earth to be a special planet. Reasons are as follows

1.Earth is the only planet known where intelligent life exist.

2.It lies in the circumstellar habitable zone (CHZ). CHZ is defined in the image given below.

3. Earth has a unique magnetic field which protects the earth from the harmful solar winds. These solar winds played a role in transforming venus into hell.

4. Earth has Van Allen radiation belts which protects it from cosmic rays.

5. Our large neighbour Jupiter protects is from many comets and asteroids that come from the keiper belt and Oort cloud.

6. Earth's atmosphere is favorable to support life on earth. This atmosphere consists of different gases in adequate amount. If the percentage of gases would differ then life on earth may face serious consequences.

7. Tectonic plates of earth differentiates it from most other planets.

8. Earth has a solid crust unlike the gaseous planets.

9. Earth has been gifted with a medium sized star which release solar winds and protect us from the harmful radiation of outer space.

bedbugs are parasites? Explain your reasoning using what you’ve learned about parasitic relationships.
velikii [3]

Explanation:

Bedbugs are parasites that rely on blood to survive. They can feed on the blood of any mammal, although they appear to prefer the blood of humans. They are attracted to the warmth surrounding mammalian bodies and the carbon dioxide present in breath expiration. It is usually these factors that guide bedbugs to locate a suitable host for feeding. DOES THIS HELP?
