Supplementary - same angle degree usually looks the same but flipped

Complementary - angles are side by side so if you have a straight line and there is a crooked line that goes in the middle of it and it makes two angles then those angles are complementary bc they are side by side

Hello there!

It depends on what the angles add up to be. If they add up to be 90°, they are complementary. If they add up to be 180°, they are supplementary.

So, 90° = complementary

and 180° = supplementary

It's best to review it multiple times since it's easy to confuse them, or come up with your own little saying that'll work well depending on how you think you'd remember it best. For me, since 90° angles are also right angles, i just think: it is right to give some body a  complementary angle because complementary angle ... compliment .... get it? Anyways, not to confuse you, whatever works best for you! :) I hope I could help you today!

Are corresponding angles are still congruent if the lines aren’t parallel?
Alina [70]
No they are not in the corresponding angles theorem it states that if and only if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal then the pairs of corresponding angles are congruent. And if two lines are cut by a transversal and the corresponding angles are congruent, then the lines are parallel.

Jasmine wants to eat at 8:00pm her meal takes 65mins to cook what time does she need to put the meal in the oven
densk [106]

Answer:

She needs to put the meal in the oven on or before 6:55pm.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that Jasmine wants to eat at 8:00pm.

The time she needs to cook her meal = 65 mins.

To find the time she needs to put the meal in the oven, we have to subtract 65 mins from 8:00pm

65 mins = 1 hour and 5 mins.

So, 1 hour before 8:00pm is 7:00pm.

5 mins before 7:00pm is 6:55pm.

Hence, she needs to put the meal in the oven on or before 6:55pm so that she can't miss 800pm to eat.
