Ugo [173]

Answer:

That statement is false.

Explanation:

The US Food and drug administrations actually require all ingredients to be listed under the food label, not only the top 5. This rule was created as a form of consumers protection to ensure that companies do not put dangerous ingredients in the food, even a little.

The FDA require all the ingredients to be put in descending order based on the amount of ingredients' weight.

Why was galen wrong in many of his statements about the human body even though he was a careful observer?
alina1380 [7]

It is because Galen based his information about anatomy on what he had found out during dissecting the bodies of animals. This created mistakes on his claims in human anatomy. Some of these anatomical errors were the following:

1. He thought muscles are attached to the bone just like in dogs.

2. He thought that the liver produces blood. He then realized that it flowed around the body, but he claimed that is burned fuel for the muscle.

3. He thought that there are holes through the septum, which allowed the blood to flow from one side to another of the heart.

4. He thought that there are blood vessels in the brain.

5. He thought human’s jaw was made up of two bones just like a dog’s.

6. He made mistakes about the liver’s shape.

hodyreva [135]

Answer:

The answer is accomodation.

Explanation:

In psychology, accomodation means the modifying of existing knowledge when new information is presented. This occurs because we organise our knowledge in schemas, which are bits of data about a concept. In the example, Alfred's schemas of a horse may include a tall animal with four legs and a long face. When presented with new information (black and white stripes are common in zebras, not horses), he must change his previous knowledge of horses.
