Malnutrition- A condition of weakness and poor health that results from not eating enough food or from eating food without the proper nutrients.

Also another way to know the definition is by looking at the Root Words. If you didn't know, Mal means Bad and nutrition is basically vitamins you need in able to survive. So put one and one together and you get Bad Nutrition.

Lack of knowledge: Most of the people do not know about the importance of homemade food with high quality nutritive value and they are lured to instant and expensive foods from the market.These instant foods have low nutritive value which may occur malnutrition.
Improper storing: Lack of proper storing or cooking causes malnutrition because nutrients of food are destroyed with the improper storing and over cooking.

Malnutrition can be classified into three groups on the basis of its severity.They are as follows:

Simple malnutrition
Median malnutrition
Severe malnutrition

<h3>General symptom of malnutrition</h3>

Regular weeping,crying 
Feeling irritation
Underweight in chinldren
