Answer:

They are not fighting to “keep” anything because it was something that they never had it to begin with.

Certain elements in society (mainly university students and young people) have it in their minds that China has reneged on its promise to maintain a high degree of autonomy within the one country, two systems principle because it is not allowing individual Hong Kong citizens (instead of a 1200-member electoral college) to nominate candidates for appointment as Chief Executive.

It can be speculated that the people who are inciting the students and young people to protest are populist politicians who would like to be Chief Executive themselves, but who stand no chance of being nominated by the Electoral College.

Why did the us navy never authorize the slavage of the uss Arizona
Evgesh-ka [11]
USS Arizona was destroyed and sank due to a magazine explosion in B turret magazine after being hit by a Japanese armor-piercing bomb. A ship sunk in battle is considered a war grave and a proper burial. Since the ship was not to be re-floated those men whose remains remained in areas of the ship not accessed during salvage operations to remove tophamper were interred in the ship permanently. This is why recreational diving is forbidden on the wreck. hope it helps

How did the Aztecs modify their natural environment to develop a successful civilization centered on an island on Lake Texcoco?
forsale [732]

By 1500, the Aztec Empire stretched from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico, controlling 28 million people. By then, Tenochtitlan and other nearby islands has fused into one great capital city, with an estimated population of 400,000. They constructed a system of dams and aqueducts to control lake levels and bring in fresh water from the mainland to supplement the springs on the islands since then all else follows like their source of food through the system of hydraulic agriculture, draining swampland and creating artificial islands to grow food for the city. Making their civilization a successful one.
