The correct answer is the following.

Here is my editorial supporting the Union.

Dear fellow Americans,

These are dangerous times. The unity of this country has been threatened.

Abraham Lincoln had won the elections and is the new President of the United States. The Southern states knew that this would be its worst nightmare and had decided to segregate from the Union.

The states that seceded were South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. They formed the Confederate States and the country is heading to a Civil War began.

The people from the North do not support slavery. The people from the South do not support abolition because their economies depended too much on slavery.

We have a major conflict here, yes, but the founding fathers founded one country so much stronger than its internal divisions.

And that is why we have to get in mind. Above ane difference, the Union must prevail.

The Union is the country, and as part of this country, we must support President Abraham Lincoln and the Union.

Around a distant star, two planets similar to Earth collided and were destroyed, astronomers said today.

The somewhat speculative scenario is based on the leftovers: a ring of debris around the star that includes a million times more dust than now circles our sun.

belka [17]

Answer:

Started the following precendences:

1. Two-term limit (not an actual law until 1951)

2. A state of the union address

3. An inagural address

4. The title of "Mr. President"

Explanation:

President Washington was a humble and famous leader at the time. His actions during his eight years as President of the United States would set precedences still recognized today. All succeeding Presidents followed his example on how they were to serve.

Scilla [17]

<em>Well, Why did Americans want to add California to the nation? They wanted to build ports on the coast for trading with China and Japan. Because, California's constitution BANNED slavery. One activist who worked with government officials in the 1960s to help farm workers was
Natali [406]

Answer:

Cesar Chavez.

Explanation:

Cesar Chavez grew in a family of migrant workers who provided labor in the fields.

As a result, he got to understand the hardships that the workers face. He thereafter devoted his time and resources to diplomatically fight for the rights of workers.

He formed the national farm workers association, through which he would actualize his agenda. He joined hands with the agricultural workers organizing committee to form the United Farm Workers, after a joint strike against the grape growers.

Years of struggle for change in condition and treatment of the grape growers gave the fruits of farmers agreeing to sign contracts with the workers.
