Well in pre-colonial America, native people development of crops and mounds allowed for permanent settlements to be established. These civilization introduced a new lifestyle and quickly became a gateway to institutionalizing new non-nomadic cultures and traditions amongst one another.

was a lot of tension between Great Britain and China due to the opium
trade of British merchants and the Chinese of the Qing dynasty. Since
the British needed Chinese goods but did not have enough silver for
trading, they decided to exchange Chinese goods for opium instead.
Because of the opium trade, there were many Chinese who became
addicted to the substance. This lead to a high number of unstable
individuals in China. This lead to the Chinese revolting against the
British merchants. This, in turn, lead to the opium war. </span>

Douglas MacArthur decided to land a task force at Incheon, South Korea, to cut off the North Korean supply line and to, not only isolate the North Korean forces in the south, but also to push into North Korea. It was brilliantly successful, and without the intervention of Chinese troops and Soviet military equipment, North Korea would have lost the war.
