Bill Clinton won became the 42nd President of the United States when he won the election in 1993. His victory can be attributed to various factors.  One factor can that he was able to connect with the young generation of the time.  Through his appearances in programs where youthful audience would watch, he presented a new image that appealed to young voters who voted for him. Another was with the end of the Cold War, there no need to maintain a hard line in international politics which was another loss to the Republicans.  Also the Republicans had a hard time in dealing with the economy which also contributed to Clinton’s victory.
