Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form equation of a circle with radius r is expressed as

( x − h )^2 + ( y − k )^2 =r ^2 ,

where r represents the radius

h and k are the coordinates of the center of the circle C( h , k )

To determine the coordinates at the center of the circle, the midpoint formula would be used. It is expressed as

[(x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2]

Midpoint of the circle =

(6 - 4)/2 , (2 + 7)/2 = (1, 4.5)

h coordinate of the center = 1

k coordinate of the center = 4.5

r^2 = (x - h)^2 + (2 - k)^2

r^2 = (6 - 1)^2 + (2 - 4.5)^2

r^2 = 5^2 + (- 2.5)^2 = 25 + 6.25

r^2 = 31.25

Substituting r^2 = 31.25, h = 1 and k = 4.5 into (x − h )^2 + ( y − k )^2 = r^2, the standard equation of the circle becomes

(x − 1 )^2 + ( y − 4.5 )^2 = 31.25

What is an equation of the line that passes through the points
(8,2) and
(7,1)?
gogolik [260]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

first, we find the slope

slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

(8,2)....x1 = 8 and y1 = 2

(7,1)....x2 = 7 and y2 = 1

now we sub

slope = (1 - 2) / (7 - 8) = -1/-1 = 1

y = mx + b

slope(m) = 1

use either of ur points...I will use (8,2)...x = 8 and y = 2

now we sub and find b, the y intercept

2 = 1(8) + b

2 = 8 + b

2 - 8 = b

-6 = b

so ur equation is : y = 1x - 6....or just y = x - 6 <===

What is a developing nation?
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

C.) (I think you meant to put c here) State with little or no economy

Step-by-step explanation:

This one was very confusing because I was beginning to think the answer could possibly be D as well. However, based on background knowledge of many developing countries in the previous century and also the present, many nations are still classified as developing despite the states being into conflict. Therefore revealing the states don't have to be working together in order to build an economy in order to be classified as a developing nation.

Now without a doubt, I do recall that a developing nation has little to no economy. That statement surely is more accurate due to it providing a fact rather than a hypothesis.
