Answer: 3) The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen

Details:

Abbé Sieyès and the Marquis de Lafayette were the authors of the document. Abbé Sieyès was a prominent clergyman in France who supported the rights of the common people. The Marquis de Lafayette was a member of the nobility who had fought in America's war for independence against Britain. Their document was written in consultation with Thomas Jefferson of the United States, who had drafted the Declaration of Independence.

The Declaration of Independence (1776) asserted the American colonies' decision to break away from British government. It included the same Enlightenment ideals of natural rights and liberties that would characterize the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen produced later (1789) in France.

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen was approved by the National Assembly of France on August 26, 1789, in the early months of the French Revolution.

horsena [70]

Answer:

Sunk-cost fallacy.

Explanation:

The sunk-cost fallacy refers to the behavior done by the individuals when they continue such behavior because they already invested resources on it (time, money, effort).

In this example, Les invested money on the megaphone of root beer, he starts drinking it but he becomes full, nevertheless he keeps drinking it (even when his friend tells him he will get sick) because he "bought it and not going to waste one drop of it"

Less continues drinking the root beer even though he's already full because he thinks he already invested money on buying it.

Thus, this is an example of the sunk-cost fallacy.
