International Journal of Cancer published a research which suggests that eating lots of fruits and vegetables may provide some protection against cancers of breast, pancreas, bladder and colon.  The study was published online July 6, 2018. The study observes an average 50% reduction in the risk of cancers with higher intake of fruits and vegetables.

It was also found that 5.5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day lowers the risk of cancer by 11% especially breast cancer. Women with lesser intake are more prone to cancer. Thus, it has inverse relation to the risk of Cancer.
