16 red balloons to all 32 balloons

just add the number of balloons that aren't red and you got your answer, which is 32, and don't add in the red balloons because it is asking the ration to only the red balloons to all balloons

Answer:

= 1 : 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Total balloons = 16 + 4 + 20 + 8 = 48 balloons

red balloons to total balloons

16 : 48

Simplify by dividing both sides by 16

1 : 3.

I need help on this, will someone try and help me out? PLEASE
sattari [20]
Step 1.) Multiply both sides of the equation by -6

step 2.) Sum the equations vertically to eliminate at least one variable

step 3.) Divide both sides of the equation by

step 4.) Substitute the given value of into the equation x - 2y = 10

step 5.) Solve the equation for x

step 6.) The possible solution of the system is the ordered pair (x , y)

step 7.) Check if the given ordered pair is the solution of the system of equations

step 8.) Simplify the equalities

step 9.) Since all of the equalities are true, the ordered pair is the solution of the system

So your answer would end up being (40/13 , -45/13) !! Hope that helps you out :D !!

At a baseball game, 3 drinks and 4 hotdogs cost $15.00. At the same game, 3 drinks and 1 hotdog cost $10.50. Find the cost for a
Serhud [2]

Answer:

$3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Let the cost of drinks be x

and the cost of hotdogs be y

so

3x+4y=15-------1

also

3x+y= 10.5------2

solve 1 and 2

 3x+4y=15

-3x+y= 10.5

     3y= 4.5

divide both sides by 3

y= 4.5/3

y= $1.5

Put y= 1.5 in 1

3x+4(1.5)=15

3x+6= 15

3x=15-6

3x= 9

x= 9/3

x= $3

Hence the cost of a drink is $3

A(-5,-4) ——> A’ is a glide reflection where the translation is (x,y)—->(x+6,y), and the line of reflection is y=3. What ar
Nastasia [14]

Solution:

The Point in the coordinate plane is A(-5,-4).

Perpendicular or shortest Distance from line y=3 that is (-5,3) to point (-5,-4) is

=\sqrt{(-5+5)^2+(3+4)^2}\\\\=7

When it is reflected through the line, y=3, the coordinate of point A (-5,-4) changes to (-5,3+7)= B(-5,10).

Now, the Point B is translated by the rule , (x,y)—->(x+6,y),

So,the point B is translated to, (-5+6,10)=(1,10)

Option C: (1,10) is the glide reflection of point A(-5,-4).
