Answer : The number of moles of N_2O_3 is 1.41 moles.

Explanation :

In N_2O_3, there are 2 nitrogen atoms and 3 oxygen atoms.

As we know that, 1 mole of substance contains 6.022\times 10^{23} number of atoms.

As, 3\times 6.022\times 10^{23} number of oxygen atoms contains 1 mole of N_2O_3

So, 2.55\times 10^{24} number of oxygen atoms contains \frac{2.55\times 10^{24}}{3\times 6.022\times 10^{23}}=1.41 mole of N_2O_3

Therefore, the number of moles of N_2O_3 is 1.41 moles.

Moles of O = atom / avogadro's number = 2.55*10^24 / 6.022*10^23 = 4.23 mol

since each N2O3 contains 3 O atoms:
moles of N2O3 = moles of O / 3 = 1.41 mol

Which type of hybridization is observed when central atom is located at the centre of regular tetrahedron
Ann [662]

Answer:

sp3 hybridization

Explanation:

Hybridization means the mixing of atomic orbitals to yield hybrid orbitals with characteristics that are different from that of the isolated atomic orbitals before the combination.

sp3 hybridization occurs when one s orbital is mixed with three p orbitals to yield four sp3 hybrid orbitals which can be used to bond to a central atom.

The central atom is then located at the center of a regular tetrahedron at a bond angle of 109°.

In redox reactions, electrons are _____.
ludmilkaskok [199]
In redox reaction electrons are transferred

Redox reaction involve both reducing of b agent and oxidizing agent. reducing agent acts as electrons donor while oxidizing agent acts as electron acceptor
for example formation of Hydrogen fluoride (HF)

that is H2 + F2 = HF

by breaking the equation

H2 = 2 H^+ 2e-
F2 + 2e= 2f-

hydrogen move from oxidation from zero( 0 )to positive one ( +1 )therefore hydrogen is oxidized. Fluorine move from oxidation state of zero(0) to oxidation state of negative one(-1) therefore fluorine is reduced.

The following data was collected when a reaction was performed experimentally in the laboratory.
Reptile [31]

The maximum amount of AlCl_3 produced during the experiment can be find out by knowing the Limiting Reagent.

Here, The maximum amount of AlCl_3 produced during the experiment is 400 grams

What is Limiting reagent ?

The limiting reagent (or limiting reactant or limiting agent) in a chemical reaction is a reactant that is totally consumed when the chemical reaction is stopped.

Now, According to the question,

Given ;

Number of moles of Al(NO_3)_3 - 4 moles

Number of moles of NaCl - 9 moles

To Find - Maximum amount of AlCl_3 produced during the reaction.

Solution ;

complete reaction ;

Al(NO_3)_3 + 3NaCl --> 3NaNO_3 + AlCl_3

To find the maximum amount of AlCl_3 produced during the reaction,

we need to find the limiting reagent.

Mole ratio Al(NO_3)_3 = 4/1 = 4

Mole ratio NaCl = 9/3 = 3

Thus, NaCl is the limiting reagent in the reaction.

Now, 3 moles of NaCl produces 1 mole of Al(NO_3)_3

9 moles of NaCl will produce = 1/3 x 9 = 3 moles.

Weight of Al(NO_3)_3 = 3 x 133.34 = 400 grams

Thus, 400 grams of Al(NO_3)_3 is the maximum amount of Al(NO_3)_3 produced during the experiment.
