Answer:

E $4.00

Explanation:

Calculation of the approximate overhead cost per unit of Product B2 under activity-based costing.

Calulation of the Activity 1 allocated to Product B2 line:

$48,000 × 4,800/6,000 = $38,400

Calculation of the Activity 2 allocated to Product B2 line:

$63,000 × 4,760/7,000 = $42,840

Calculation of the Activity 3 allocated to Product B2 line:

$80,000 × 800/8,000 = $8,000

Hence the Total overhead allocated to Product B2 will be :

$38,400+$42,840+$8,000

= $89,240

The Overhead per unit of Product B2 will be :

$89,240/22,310

= $4.00

Therefore the approximate overhead cost per unit of Product B2 under activity-based costing will be $4.00

slava [35]

Answer:

The answer to this question is c. Kathy has to pay based on a quasi contract.

Explanation:

Based on the scenario displayed above Kathy has to pay based on a quasi contract.

A  Quasi contract is a contract  that is created by a court order, not by an agreement made by the parties to the contract. For example, quasi contracts are created by the court when no official agreement exists between the parties, in disputes over payments for goods or services

In this case there has not been an official agreement between Kathy and the hospital, However she has to pay the bill presented to her based on Quasi contract which is created to prevent an individual to be unjustly enriched or from benefiting from the situation when he/she  does not deserve to do so.

Hence the answer is c. Kathy has to pay based on a quasi contract.

Answer:

Communicating value

Explanation:

Communicating value involves showing others what makes one's product or skills different and better than others that are available.

What value means to stakeholders in a situation needs to be defined.

Focus is then given to how the skill or product can meet these unique needs.

Also one needs to understand the most effective platform to use in communicating value.

In this instance Ethan wants to make his resume stand out from all the other resumes that the company receives in order to be selected for an interview

He is communicating the value he can add to the company.

Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Pn = P0(1+r)∧n

Pnis future value of P0

P0 is original amount invested

r is the rate of interest

n is the number of compounding periods (years, months, etc.)

P(n) = 2250(1+(.03/4)∧8

** since the interest is compounding quarterly, you need to divide the rate by 4, the number of quarters in a year.

Then you would do the math.
