the ratio of the measures of the three angles in a triangle is 2:9:4. find the measures of the angles
givi [52]
Let the measures of three angles be 2x, 9x, 4x
Sum of the angles of a triangle = 180
2x+9x+4x = 180
15x = 180
x = 180/15 = 12
First angle = 2x = 2*12 = 24°
Second angle = 9x = 9*12 = 108°
Third angle = 4x = 4*12 = 48°

Water leaves a spigot at a rate of 462 cubic inches per minute. How many cubic feet of water is this per hour?
ivann1987 [24]
I’m pretty sure it would be 2,310 cubic feet of water. you have to take 462 x 60 to get 27,
720 inches per hour and then divide that by 12 to get feet per hour.
