Answer  5r^ 2 −17r+5

Step-by-step explanation:

Changes made to your input should not affect the solution:

(1): "r2"   was replaced by   "r^2".  1 more similar replacement(s).

STEP

1

:

Equation at the end of step 1

 (((8•(r2))-12r)+4)-((3r2+5r)-1)

STEP

2

:

Equation at the end of step

2

:

 ((23r2 -  12r) +  4) -  (3r2 + 5r - 1)

STEP

3

:

Trying to factor by splitting the middle term

3.1     Factoring  5r2-17r+5

The first term is,  5r2  its coefficient is  5 .

The middle term is,  -17r  its coefficient is  -17 .

The last term, "the constant", is  +5

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant   5 • 5 = 25

Step-2 : Find two factors of  25  whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is   -17 .

     -25    +    -1    =    -26

     -5    +    -5    =    -10

     -1    +    -25    =    -26

     1    +    25    =    26

     5    +    5    =    10

     25    +    1    =    26

Observation : No two such factors can be found !!

Conclusion : Trinomial can not be factored

Final result :

 5r^2 - 17r + 5

PLEASE HELP ASAP THIS IS THE LAST QUESTION AND I AM STUCK!!

<h3>Answer:  B) 7 units</h3>

===========================================================

Explanation:

The y coordinates of the two points are the same, so we can subtract the x coordinates and apply absolute value

|R - T| = |-6 - 1| = |-7| = 7

Or we can say

|T - R| = |1 - (-6)| = |1 + 6| = |7| = 7

Either way, the two points are 7 units apart.

You could use the distance formula to get the same answer, but that's definitely overkill in my opinion. The trick mentioned above also could work if the x coordinates were the same, but the y coordinates were different. In any other case, you would have to use the distance formula.

-2/3x + 2.8 = -8.2 what is x
JulsSmile [24]
-2/3x + 2.8 = -8.2 what is x
Add 2.8 on both side of the equation
-2/3x=-11
Divide both side by -2/3
x=33/2

Check: -2/3(33/2)+ 2.8 = -8.2
-11+2.8=-8.2
-8.2=-8.2

Answer is x=33/2
