4 0

to solve this equation (4^2)^3*40 you can do this multiple ways, first off you can multiply 3*2 and get 6 so it could be 4^6 power, or you can solve for 4^2, then take that answer (16)^3 which would give you 4096 the you times this by 40 which gives you the answer 163840

If this is for real, the answer is 163,840 horses on the farm, because 4^2 is 16, and 16^3 is 4,096, and 4,096 times 40 is 163,840.

Which can be used to expand the expression below?
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Distributive Property

Step-by-step explanation:

We have

5(3x - 6/7)

Distributive Property would work because 5 has to be mutliplied by 3x and -6/7 to rid the parenthesis and also give a final answer for the equation. Any others will lead to a wrong answer.

EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP STRUGGLING! The triangles in each pair are similar.
Ludmilka [50]

Answer: The missing length is 120 {option C}

Step-by-step explanation: What we have in the question is a triangle placed on top of another triangle and as shown in the attached diagram we can separate them into triangles BFC and GFH.

A close observation shows that line BC is parallel to line GH. Hence we have two similar triangles, and we can determine their similarity ratios as follows;

BF/FC = GF/FH

Similarly BF/BC = GF/GH

We can also express the following ratio

FC/FH = BC/GH

Therefore to calculate the missing side, which is GF, we can use the ratio

FC/FH = FB/FG

30/100 = 36/FG

By cross multiplication we now have 30 (FG) = 100 (36)

30FG = 3600

Divide both sides of the equation by 30

FG = 120

The relative frequency distribution of the number of phobias reported by a hypothetical sample of 500 college students is given
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

a. 0.48

b. 0.14

c. 0.47

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question

0 - 2        0.48

3 - 5        0.26

6 - 8        0.12

9- 11        0.09

12- 14       0.05

Based on the above information

a. The probability for fewer than three phobias is

= P( x < 3)

= 0.48

b.  The probability for more than eight phobias is

= P( x >8)

= 0.09 + 0.05

= 0.14

c. Probability between 3 and 11 phobias is

= P(3 < x < 11)

= 0.26 + 0.12  + 0.09

= 0.47
