Answer:

The correct answer is "2".

Explanation:

Retribution is a word that could have positive or negative implications depending on the situation at which is used. The example "The court decided that the sentence was fair retribution for the crime committed", gives a situation with negative connotations because it deals with a person receiving a fair retribution for the crime committed. The negative connotations are in accordance with the second definition of "retribution", which applies particularly for punishment.

20points!!!!PLEASE HELP THIS IS TIMED!!!!
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

I would first start with talking to my audience as a student and not just some person giving a speech. People in charge of budgeting may disagree with me because technology is expensive and constantly improving. I could show them everything you can do using technology. I can show them good ways to budget in order to be able to afford this technology. For selective exposure, it is a theory within the practice of psychology, often used in media and communication research, that historically refers to individuals' tendency to favor information which reinforces their pre-existing views while avoiding contradictory information. The older members of my audience may screen out any of the positives I shared about the technology because they do not understand it and believe since they did not have it when they were in school, therefore we should not have it.

Winning with Words Which of the following main entries is given first in the dictionary? a. Kingdom come c. King James Version b
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

The main entry that is given first in the dictionary is (c.) King James Version.

A dictionary is a book that lists the words of a language in alphabetical order and provides the readers with their meaning. Moreover, dictionaries also offer information related to the origin and pronounciation of words. As words are arranged in alphabetical order, the entry that is given first in a dictionary is "King James Version" because, unlike the other options, the word "king" in this entry is not directly followed, that is to say within the same word, by any other letter. "King James Version" is followed by the entry "Kingdom come" because there is a "d" after the word "king" and, in the alphabet, "d" comes before "f" and "s". In "kingfish", "king" is followed by "f"; therefore, this entry comes after "kingdom come", whereas "kings" ("king" is followed by "s") is the last entry.

Write a ballad poem
do not copy and paste!!!!
kifflom [539]

Answer:

It began on a pointy July afternoon:

I was the most smart doctor around,

She was the most talented princess.

She was my friend,

My talented friend,

My princess.

We used to nuzzle so well together,

Back then.

We wanted to natter together, around the world,

We wanted it all.

But one afternoon, one pointy afternoon,

We decided to natter too much.

Together we evicted a chip munk.

It was sharp, so sharp.

From that moment our relationship changed.

And then it happened:

Oh no! Oh no!

The next day I thought my brain had broken,

I thought my neck had burst into flames,

(But I was actually overreacting a little.)

But still, she is in my thoughts.

I think about how it all changed that afternoon,

That pointy July afternoon.

My neck... ouch!

When I think of that talented princess,

That talented princess and me.
