Why did hitler want to dominate other countries ?
mote1985 [20]
Hitler was the type of man who believed in something so much that his words alone influenced an entire continent to follow him. The problem was his belief was that the aryan race was superior to blacks, Jews, gypsies and poles (not excluding political prisoners and homosexuals of course). This paired with the fascist doctrine of constant feeding of the military industrial complex fueled world war 2. The economy is actually able to extremely benifet off of war (it is what got us out of the Great Depression after all). War is also a great way to bring people together (like the 9/11 attacks or pear harbor). He certainly did want to rule the world, but it was that same racist idea of aryan superiority that he wanted to impose. If he had gotten his way, he would’ve enslaved, raped, pillaged and killed his way for 20 years until the majority of Europe and Russia was aryan. He didn’t even particularly like Italians, and just used them as a stepping stone to get superiority in the region. Maybe if he had won ww2 then there would’ve been a pseudo Cold War between the two (which means more war for mister Hitler and his Nazis).

Which best describes president johnson’s influence during reconstruction? he had influence among republicans but not democrats.
aliya0001 [1]

During Reconstruction, Johnson's influence can be described as "He did not have the political support that Lincoln had."

Why did he not have political support?

Lincoln was a Republican and Congress was controlled by Republicans. Lincoln therefore had a lot of support in Congress.

Johnson on the other hand, was a Democrat who did not want the same things Republicans wanted. He therefore had little support in Congress, and was constantly overruled.

In conclusion, option D is correct.
