Answer:

they all relate to a person's behavior when he or she is abusing substances therefore the answer is C.

Explanation:

Abusing Substances: Substance abuse can simply be defined as a pattern of harmful use of any substance for mood-altering purposes.

Person's Behavior:  Human behavior is the response of individuals or groups of humans to internal and external stimuli.

External Stimuli: External Stimuli are reactions to the world around you, for instance someone throws something at you, you flinch. If someone shines a bright light in your eye you close your eyes.

Stimuli are generally easy to understand if you keep in mind that Internal means Feelings,

External means Reaction.

To a friend about the school trip.
djyliett [7]

Answer:

Dear Susan,

I hope you are doing well. I had a nice experience at the zoo some days ago, and I want to tell you all about it.

Last Monday, my classmates and I went to the zoo. It was an amazing trip since we learned about different animals and their habitats. We saw monkeys, giraffes, elephants, and even snakes. It was a great trip because I have never seen any of those animals in person.

We had to take notes of all the different animals that we saw and what the guide said. At the end of the trip, our teacher asked us questions to check what we learned and asked us to choose one animal and write in detail about it.

Have you been on any school trips lately? If so, I would love to hear how it was. Hope to see you soon.

All the best,

Kelly

Explanation:

In this letter, we have to tell our friend about a school trip. In the first paragraph, we ask our friend how she is doing and introduce the topic of the letter. In the following section, we describe our experience in the zoo. We tell the reader what we saw, why we went, and what we found fascinating. In the next paragraph, we describe what the teacher asked us to do after the visit to check our knowledge. Finally, we ask the person about her/his experience and say our goodbyes.

9966 [12]
Assuming the underlined verb form is masquerading, the correct answer is B. gerund.
Although gerunds and participles look the same (both have the form verb + -ing), the difference is in their function - participles are used as either adjectives or adverbs, whereas gerunds are used as nouns within a sentence.

2(a) analyze how complex characters advance the plot. In part 1, Oedipus is shown to have a quick temper, meaning that he gets a
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

Oedipus is intensely angry when he kills his biological father and when he fights with Creon and Teiresias for giving him bad news.

Explanation:

Oedipus has difficulties in controlling his emotions, especially anger. That's because he is a person with an explosive temperament, who can't handle solving intrigues with ease and who expresses himself with violence. This personality trait not only leaves Oedipus a very intense character, but also leaves him a real person who often does not act rationally, being totally controlled by anger, leaving his story totally unpredictable.

Oedipus' anger may be exaggerated for us, but it was a common feature for the Greek society that created this play. That's because the Greeks at that time lived in a very violent time with several invasions and stress. Watching a character unleash his anger in a grandiose way could be somewhat comfortable for the Greeks.
