The value of x is 10 \sqrt{3}.

Solution:

Given image is a right triangle.

Hypotenuse = 30

Part 1 = 20

Part 2 = Hypotenuse - Part 1

          = 30 - 20

Part 2 = 10

Leg = x

<u>Leg rule of geometric mean theorem:</u>

$\frac{\text { hypotenuse }}{\text { leg }}=\frac{\text{leg}}{\text { part of its leg}}

$\Rightarrow \frac{30}{x}=\frac{x}{10}

Do cross multiplication.

$\Rightarrow 30\times 10=x\times x

$\Rightarrow 300=x^2

$\Rightarrow 10^2 \times 3=x^2

Taking square root on both sides, we get

\Rightarrow 10 \sqrt{3}= x

The value of x is 10 \sqrt{3}.

In the first half of a basketball game, a player scored 9 points on free throws and then scored a number of 2-port
Mashcka [7]

Answer: I thin The first one 2r+3r+9

Step-by-step explanation: Because he scored a number of 2 port shots which means he scored more than one but the 9 points is just 9 points from free throws which gives only 1 point each and 3 port shots and much as 2 point shots so 3r also

2r+3r+ just 9

Which of the statements is true regarding the graphed functions ?
DedPeter [7]
F(x) means the function defined at that x value. It really just means what y value when x is equal to that input. So we can see clearly that A is false. They’re nearly opposite y values. B is also obviously false since the y values aren’t equal. C is the same case, the y values aren’t equal. D is true. When x = -2 for both functions, we can see the y value is the same. They also intercept, so that’s a pretty dead giveaway

How to solve a one step equation of R+3= -6 1/2 <br> please show all the work
IgorC [24]
Solve for R:
R + 3 = -(1/2 + 6)
Put 1/2 + 6 over the common denominator 2. 1/2 + 6 = (2×6)/2 + 1/2:
R + 3 = -(2×6)/2 + 1/2
2×6 = 12:
R + 3 = -(12/2 + 1/2)
12/2 + 1/2 = (12 + 1)/2:
R + 3 = -(12 + 1)/2
12 + 1 = 13:
R + 3 = -13/2
Subtract 3 from both sides:
R + (3 - 3) = -13/2 - 3
3 - 3 = 0:
R = -13/2 - 3
Put -13/2 - 3 over the common denominator 2. -13/2 - 3 = (-13)/2 + (2 (-3))/2:
R = (-13)/2 - (3×2)/2
2 (-3) = -6:
R = (-6)/2 - 13/2
(-13)/2 - 6/2 = (-13 - 6)/2:
R = (-13 - 6)/2
-13 - 6 = -19:
Answer:  R = (-19)/2
