The Renaissance takes place in a time where the ideology of the Catholic Church decayed, having been imposed over many centuries for the whole continent. This made Renaissance thinkers influence better from the Arab world that was experimenting a Golden Era of Islam.

The Arabs developed a huge amount of cuture, and innovated in the realms of science , economy and art. They were very enthusiast about Greek and Latin classical works and traslated them.

They first came to Europe through the Iberian Peninsula and Mediterranean.

The ideas from the Greeks like Plato and Socrates were reconsidered among Italian and Mediterranean artists. The impact also had similar effect on a rising middle class.

Since the middle clase rose to a great degree, a new way of thinking emerged were the man was at control of the universe: Humanism.
