Some technological solutions to problems like global warming meet the specific needs and situations of local communities. An exa

mple from India involves converting the solid waste from cattle into clean-burning fuel for cooking. This reduces the amount of greenhouse gases, specifically methane and carbon dioxide, released into the environment from wood fires. When evaluating the feasibility of implementing this solution, computer models are used to weigh costs against benefits. What factor is least likely to impact the decision on adopting this technology?

Answer:

D)  education of local residents to maintain equipment

Explanation:

education of local residents to maintain equipment The time and expense needed to train local residents in servicing the digesters used to convert  into clean fuel would be offset by the cost of hiring outside technicians and the benefit of reducing local unemployment, so it isn't likely to have a significant impact on evaluating the proposal. The other factors are significant costs or benefits so it is critical to take them into account.

PLS HELP!!! What best describes the relationship between
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

Interspecific competition

Explanation:

Interspecific competition occurs when two different species occupy the same environment as they coexist and depend on the same limited resources for survival. As a result of these limited resources, there's competition between the different species with each species having their different levels of fitness. Their level of fitness determines how well they will complete with other species. This will also determine if they will go extinct or thrive in such environment where there's interspecific competition.

The graph given shows the growth of the relative population size of two different species grown together.

It shows that P. aurelia, with time, outcompetes P. coudatum.

This graph clearly suggest that interspecific competition has occurred. Both species are competing for the same limited resources.

P. aurelia has a greater fitness which enables it to outcompete the other species sharing the same environment with it.

Interspecific competition beats describes the relationship between the two species in graph B.

What do decomposers do with the nutrients that they break down ?
Margaret [11]
They essentially do what humans do. They eat the food, which in this case is decaying materials (detritus), break down the material chemically and mechanically, absorb the nutrients they need, then excrete the 'waste', which contains other nutrients. Soil is basically clay, sand, silt and decomposer's cr*p.<span />

Simply explain the structure of a muscle cell
Setler [38]

Muscle cells are divided into two groups, striated muscle and smooth muscle. Striated muscle cells are characterized by protein arrays that form stripes. Smooth muscles don't have these striations or stripes and appear unmarked when viewed through a microscope.

Muscle cells form muscle tissue, and three types of muscle tissue are found in the human body: smooth muscle, cardiac muscle and skeletal muscle. The movement of smooth muscle is an involuntary process, meaning the muscle contracts and relaxes without conscious thought.

Cardiac muscle is similar to smooth muscle but is only located within the heart. This tissue is also controlled by involuntary processes. Cardiac muscle tissue doesn't contain nerves, but electrical impulses pass through the tissue causing involuntary responses.

Skeletal muscles are attached to bones in the body and are controlled through voluntary movements. When you do a push-up, flex your biceps, turn your head or scratch your nose with a finger, skeletal muscles are performing these tasks through voluntary movements.
