The slope-intercept form:

m - slope

b - y-intercept

$x-y=1$      subtract x from both sides

$-y=-x+1$     change the signs

$y=x-1$

It's a linear function.

We need only two points to plotting a graph.

We choose any three values of x and calculate y.
