Both 8,15,17 and 15,20,25 will form a right triangle

If you need help with these types of problems just go into google and search Pythagorean theory silver and plug in 2/3 side lengths and if the outcome equals the third number, then that means that the side lengths make a right triangle

Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

  114 square meters

Step-by-step explanation:

The figure decomposes into two congruent trapezoids, each with bases 15 m and 4 m, and height 6 m. The area formula for a trapezoid is ...

  A = 1/2(b1 +b2)h

__

Each trapezoid will have an area of ...

  A = 1/2(15 +4)(6) = 57 . . . . square meters

The figure's area is twice that, so is ...

  figure area = 2 × 57 m² = 114 m²

Paraphin [41]
"Understand the problem" might rightly consist of
• Perform this step first
• Identify what you are being asked to solve or find.
• Identify the important words or numbers in the problem
• Identify any instructions that you are supposed to follow

_____
One of my professors always insisted we start the solution of any problem by writing down what was Given, and what we had to Find, using those headers for the sections of the paper we turned in. Only after those were listed were we allowed to write the Solution. Solution papers that didn't have that format were tossed in the trash, and no credit was given. Harsh, but effective.

Which of the following is not a step in the procedure for two-way ANOVA to test for an interaction effect, an effect from the
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

D. If the P-value is large, reject the null hypothesis of no interaction. Conclude that there is an interaction effect.

Step-by-step explanation:

If p value is smaller than significant level(5% or 1%), then reject the null hypothesis.

From the given information about two way ANOVA, First 3 are true statements based on decision rule.

4th statement is false, becasue p value is larger, then decision is to fail the null hypothesis and conclude that there is no interaction between them

Find the minimum cost of producing 50,000 units of a product, where x is the number of units of labor (at $36 per unit) and y is
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given problem: C(x,y) = 36x + 48y

constraint: 100x^0.6y^0.4

Using langrange Multiplier,

36 = 0.6(100)x^-0.4y^0.4λ         i

48 = 0.4(100)x^0.6y^-0.6λ         ii

dividing the equations we have:

x = 2y

substituting into the constraint

p(x,y) = 100 *(2y)^0.6 y^0.4 = 100*2^0.6 *y

5000  = 151.572y

y = 329.876 labor units

x = 659.752 capital units

Minimum cost = 36(659.752) +48(329.876) = $39585.12
