Answer: Glucagon stimulates lipolysis and decrease ghrelin levels.

Explanation:

Glucagon is an hormone that is secreted in the pancrease which convert stored glycogen to glucose that is released in the blood. High blood glucose increase insulin levels. Too much of glucagon can cause diabetes. Glucagon stimulate lipolysis which provide fatty acids to tissues to be use as fuel. Glucagon decrease the ghrelin levels. Glucagon stimulates amylin secretion.

Which statement explains why carbon-14 dating Cannot be used to date ancient rocks
cestrela7 [59]

The answer is the radioactive isotope reacts in the same way as stable isotopes in the chemical reactions in the body.

C-14 and C-12 are carbon isotopes used to measure the approximate age of organic remains. C-12 is stable, and it does not break down into other elements over time. C-14 is not stable. It breaks down into N-14. But, in the body, the radioactive isotope reacts in the same way as stable isotopes in the chemical reactions.

Particles can move into and out of cells by different processes.Figure 2 shows different particles inside and outside of a root
arlik [135]

the different particles would enter the root hair cell by osmosis.

what is osmosis ?

Osmosis can be the passive process where the molecules move from the region of higher concentration to lower concentration until the concentrations become equal on either side of the membrane with out expenditure of external energy.

Gases and liquids are solvent undergo the process of osmosis; It can be Endosmosis where a substance in a hypotonic solution, the solvent molecules move inside the cell and the cell becomes turgid by a process of DE plasmolysis.
