Effects of cultural diversity among American people during the late 20th and early 21st centuries:
<span>Because of all the immigration, America became one big melting pot. The diversity of cultures from all over the world made America somewhat divided as well. People that immigrated stayed with their kind, and their traditions, while native born Americans stayed with their kind and their traditions.

Normally, people born in American scorned the immigrants as well. The new religions also divided America. In summary, it took away from the American culture and identified America as the "Melting Pot."</span>

Answer:

Maya Angelou's poem “On the Morning Pulse” promotes us to prevent conflict and to begin spreading peace in the country, as all of us are alike. As the poem "One Today" was read, the poet Richard Blanco tried to say that rather than others who had different treatment based on race or religion, we must continue along our paths without prejudicial effects and care for one another.

Further Explanation:

This poetry implies that the American People have an ongoing war between the individuals during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. America was also slightly separated by the diversity of cultures from around the globe.

People who emigrated remain their own and their traditions, while Americans who were born remained their own and their traditions. However, the war today is waged by greed and self-interest. Wars are being battled over such things. Many individuals were frightened of standing up for what they trust. They tend to forget that the nation was established on the conviction of life, freedom, and pursuit of happiness.

Charra [1.4K]
To be a formal debate, the debate must include set rules and guidelines.
The teacher or the person who is in charge of the debate should make clear rules and guidelines about what is permitted and what is not in a debate if it is to be a formal one. It doesn't have to include strong opinions if it's a formal debate only - any type of a debate should have that. Personal attacks are not necessary for any debate, as is unlimited time to talk. However, rules and regulations are indeed important.
