Answer:

y = -2/3x + 4 is the red line

Step-by-step explanation:

well lets change 4x+6y=8 into y=mx+b form

6y= -4x +8 now divide by 6 on both sides to get y alone --> y = -2/3x+4/3

now if you want something parallel to that line all you need is a different y intercept but the slopes stay the same

Answer:

-4/6 is slope

so anything even -4/6 (x)=y is parallel

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope

any equation that has the same slope is parallel

Find the net area and the area of the region bounded by y=8cos and the x-axis between x=-pi/2 and x=pi
Andrej [43]
The net area of the region in relation to the x-axis, is just the integral at those bounds, thus

\bf \displaystyle \int\limits_{-\frac{\pi }{2}}^{\pi }~8cos(\theta )\cdot d\theta \implies 8\int\limits_{-\frac{\pi }{2}}^{\pi }~cos(\theta )\cdot d\theta
\\\\\\
\left. 8sin(\theta )\cfrac{}{}  \right]_{-\frac{\pi }{2}}^{\pi }\implies [8sin(\pi )]~-~\left[8sin\left(-\frac{\pi }{2}  \right)  \right]\implies [0]-[-8]\implies 8

Why did I just to be good at math but now I don't understand any of it my knowledge just flew away, can someone please explain h
Allisa [31]

As  you get older your brain develops as you do so when you’re taught math your brain is developing a slightly slower pace than it should be for example if you have a teacher who doesn’t really teach a lot it’s really going to slow down the process of learning

Each base in this right prism-like figure is a quarter of a circle with a radius of 2m.
NISA [10]

Answer:

volume = 10\pi m^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a prism = Base Area x height

Base is a quarter of a circle.

              Area \ of \ circle = \pi r^2\\\\r = 2m\\\\Area \ of \ quarter \ of \ a \ circle = \frac{1}{4} \pi r^2 = \frac{1}{4}\pi \times 4 = \pi m^2

Base Area = π square meters.

Therefore ,

          Volume = Base Area \times height = \pi \times 10 = 10\pi m^3
