Where do accents and dialects come from?
ElenaW [278]
Different accents and dialects originate from various geographical locations of the speakers of a same language. This is because it is impossible to create a standardized form in which all people throughout a country speak, which is why certain lingual patterns that occur in certain geographical regions are deemed to be dialects.

“If evil charges are laid at her door, they must also be laid at mine since I have been a party to all her movements.”
grin007 [14]

Answer:

I think this sentence means that if she get charges (sued, crime etc.) she should also get them because she also played a role in them (or she helped her with whatever she did)

If this wrong, please tell me! But, I'm 99% sure it's correct.
