If you're doing polynomials you might as well know how to divide with the equations.. 
to find another factor of the equation, divide the equatiion with its known factor (3x^2-10x+8)/(3x-4) You'll get x-2 

(I cant really show you how to divide polynomials since it'll look v.complicated over here! sorry..)
