Yes, I definitely sympathize with Pahom because he worked a lot in order to achieve his goals. I feel both admiration and pity for him because after working that hard and reached a stage where he could say he achieved his goals, he died. So although he succeeded, he did not have the chance to enjoy what he succeeded.
