Explanation: The queen, Rapunzel's mother, grows ill and the King, desperate to save his unborn child and wife, orders his men to find the sundrop flower so that he could give his wife the flower in water to drink. From this, Rapunzel is born as a princess with the flower's magical powers. However, mother Gothel wants to stay young forever and after finding out that the princess has the power of the sundrop, she tries to cut some of the princess hair(source of magical power) but the magic fades when the hair is cut so Gothel just stole the princess altogether.

What is Deaths attitude in the play Everyman?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

In the play "Everyman" Death's attitude is C. Vengeful.

When the play begins, the character Death proclaims that death is a weapon, employed to punish "every man... that liveth beastly/Out of God's laws." In fact, Everyman's fear of death originates not only because he prefers the material world instead of devotion for Christ, but also because he is certain he has lived "out of God's laws" and will suffer from eternal condemnation once he dies. That is to say, death is a mild punishment for people who led ungodly lives, since eternal punishment will come afterwards.

Read the excerpt.
Gemiola [76]

The excerpt “But what if I fail of my purpose here?/ It is but to keep the nerves at strain,/ To dry one’s eyes and laugh at a fall, / And, baffled, get up and begin again, /— So the chase takes up one’s life, that’s all” reveals that the speaker will never give up the pursuit for his beloved: while the first verse contemplates the prospect of failure, the following disclose an inclination toward resilience that is reenforced in the other sections of the piece. The speaker’s views on love and the pursuit of love being a product of fate rather than the speaker's own will and romantic inclinations demonstrate how the acceptance of his fate and the manner with which he allows said fate to shape his life – and, to an extent, himself – is also a commentary on how love is perceived as a struggle, as an endeavour, as something that the speaker must adapt to in order to dominate. The speaker’s love for his beloved is not a passing fancy, it is something that he ultimately accepts and fights for.

The best way to create a sense of anticipation and drama in a speech of introduction is to?
yKpoI14uk [10]

To create a sense of anticipation and drama in a speech of introduction, the best way is to use the technique of delayed decoding.

In literature, the technique of delayed decoding is used by writers to hold off the actual details of the situation from the readers till the very end. This adds some element of surprise for the readers and they are interested in reading till the end. Most famous writer associated with this style of writing is Joseph Conrad.

Example: The police uncovered the mystery of the murder and it was none other than his own son, Ruban.
