Answer:

-sqrt(13)/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Hypotenuse² = 4² + 6² = 52

Hypotenuse = sqrt(52)

Sin(A) = -6/sqrt(52) = -3/sqrt(13)

Csc A = 1 ÷ sinA

= -sqrt(13)/3

sqrt: square root

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (-1, 2) and (-4, 3)
igomit [66]
Okay so the equation y two - y one divided by x two - x one will solve this.

what y two means is that you need to plug that in for the second y value. since fractions are in x, y form and you need to start with the second y value,and it would be 3 and following that same idea with y but with the first pair of coordinates it would be 2. so we have done half of this so far by getting 3-2 but we still need to do the same thing we just did BUT for THE X COORDINATES. remember to put the SECOND x coordinate first like we did with the y coordinate. so this portion should be -4 - (-1) all together. never forget if a number has a negative sign! so now the final equation is 3-2 divided by -4 - -1. three minus 2 is 1 and -4 - -1 is -3. now divide your separate answers by each other which is 2 divided by -3 which is -0.666..... you can round that answer or just keep it in fraction form of -2/3 if you’d like.

Your time spent playing pool and ice skating must not exceed 20 hours a week. Your weekly allowance is $80. You pay $3 an hour p
Anton [14]

Answer:

The graph in the attached figure

Two possible solutions are the point (10,10) and the point (4,8)

see the explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the time in hours spent playing pool in a week

y ----> the time in hours spent for ice skating in a week

we know that

x+y \leq 20 ----> inequality A

3x+5y \leq 80 -----> inequality B

using a graphing tool

The solution is the shaded area

see the attached figure

Remember that the time can not be a negative number

If a ordered pair is a solution of the system of inequalities, then the ordered par must lie on the shaded area of the solution

Looking at the graph

Two possible solutions are

(10,10) ----> this point lie on the shaded area of solution

That means -----> The time in hours spent playing pool in a week is 10 and the time in hours spent for ice skating in a week is 10

(4,8) ----> this point lie on the shaded area of solution

That means -----> The time in hours spent playing pool in a week is 4 and the time in hours spent for ice skating in a week is 8

Answer:

In 4 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

Just equate f(x) = g(x). So:

15x + 90 = 30x + 30

60 = 15x

x = 4 hours.
