If a wildfire destroyed all the trees in a forest, what might happen to the ecosystem? Select all that apply.
bija089 [108]
Okay, I googled it because I wasn’t sure but, according to the article *ahem* “Destructive as forest fires may seem, forests often regrow in their wake. In some cases, however, forest fires become so intense they cause severe damage to the soil that may take years or even decades to repair”.

Hope this helped!

Describe how Seymour Benzer's phage experiments contributed to deciphering the genetic code
snow_tiger [21]
Seymour Benzer accidentally found a gene called r (rapid lysis) in the bacteriophage T4. The rll mutants were not able to grow on the bacterial strain in his experiment which became the catalyst for his discovery on the meaning of a gene. He collected rll mutants and mapped about 20,000 mutants and deletion. The finding of his study is that the rll gene could be represented by an estimate of 1,000 recombination units.

Answer:

Endoplasmic reticulum

Explanation:

The endoplasmic reticulum makes an extensive internal system of membranes in the eukaryotic cells. It makes a system of tubes and sacs that run throughout the cytoplasm. The ER is connected to the nuclear envelop also and serves in the transport of substances and proteins throughout the cells with the help of transport vesicles. For instance, the proteins formed on the surface of rough ER are packed in vesicles that bud off from the surface of rough ER and are carried to the Golgi apparatus for processing.

Zielflug [23.3K]
The answer to the above question is the Mendel's law of independent assortment. Mendel's law of independent assortment states that the alleles of two or more different genes get sorted independently into gametes of one another . That is the allele a gamete receives for one gene does not influence the allele received for another gene.
