Lina20 [59]

Answer:

dark, negative, gloomy and other synonyms is what i think made the world war 1 poster effective.

Explanation:

i say this because the poster gave the people/citizens something in common to worry about, death and horror. this imagery probably made other posters least effective because some people don't like to see and/or experience death, horror, and negativity so they keep their heads up and ignore it.

saul85 [17]

Every line of my serious writing since 1936 has been, in some way, a direct or indirect argument against tyranny and in favor of democratic socialism, as I understand it, according to George Orwell.

Eric Arthur Blair, better known by his pen name George Orwell, is an English novelist, essayist, and critic best known for his books Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), the latter of which is a profound anti-utopian work that explores the perils of totalitarian control.

However, his debut book, Down and Out in Paris and London, was published in 1933 under the name George Orwell despite the fact that he was born Eric Arthur Blair (the surname he derived from the beautiful River Orwell in East Anglia). After a while, only close family members were aware of his real identity, Blair, because his nom de plume had grown so strongly associated with him. As Orwell transitioned from being a stalwart of the British imperial elite to a literary and political rebel, his name change reflected a significant change in his lifestyle.

The supreme court's miranda and escobedo decisions came under sharp attack from many conservatives because they:
Ber [7]
The aforementioned cases were disliked by conservatives because they provided legal protection for suspected criminals against police misconduct. In the Miranda case, Miranda was interrogated constantly by the police until he confessed. However, he was not made aware of his rights and his case was thrown out. This resulted in the development of the Miranda warning ("You have the right to remain silent...").

Escobedo faced a similar situation, as he was accused of murder but was prevented from seeing his attorney and not informed of his right to remain silent.
