FASTmovers will only cost $39.95 because mileage is free. however SPEEDYmovers cost $29.95 the first 75miles will be free but the last 25 will be .35 multiplied by 25 will cost an extra $8.75 add that up with the cost for the truck and you will get $38.70 so SPEEDY movers is the one to get

erik [133]
No Solution
x=2+ Square root of x-2
-2
x-2= Square root of x-2
2s cancel out.
x = Square root of x
Or you can just graph it and see no solutions

Cos ( α ) = √ 6/ 6 and sin ( β ) = √ 2/4 . Find tan ( α − β )
Zina [86]

Answer:

\purple{ \bold{ \tan( \alpha  -  \beta ) = 1.00701798}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\cos( \alpha ) =  \frac{ \sqrt{6} }{6}  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{6} }  \\  \\  \therefore \:  \sin( \alpha )  =  \sqrt{1 -  { \cos}^{2} ( \alpha ) }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{1 -  \bigg( {\frac{1}{ \sqrt{6} } \bigg )}^{2} }  \\  \\ =  \sqrt{1 -  {\frac{1}{ {6} }}}  \\  \\ =  \sqrt{ {\frac{6 - 1}{ {6} }}}   \\  \\  \red{\sin( \alpha ) =  \sqrt{ { \frac{5}{ {6} }}} } \\  \\  \tan( \alpha ) =  \frac{\sin( \alpha ) }{\cos( \alpha ) }  =  \sqrt{5}  \\  \\ \sin( \beta )  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{4}  \\  \\  \implies \: \cos( \beta )  =   \sqrt{ \frac{7}{8} }  \\  \\ \tan( \beta )  =  \frac{\sin( \beta ) }{\cos( \beta ) } =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{7} }   \\  \\  \tan( \alpha  -  \beta ) =  \frac{ \tan \alpha  -  \tan \beta }{1 +  \tan \alpha .  \tan \beta}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{5} -  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{7} }  }{1 +  \sqrt{5} . \frac{1}{ \sqrt{7} } }  \\  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{35} - 1 }{ \sqrt{7}  +  \sqrt{5} }  \\  \\  \purple{ \bold{ \tan( \alpha  -  \beta ) = 1.00701798}}

The perimeter of a rectangle is 70 cm. The ratio of length to width is 2:5. Find the length and width of the rectangle.
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

length = 10 cm; width = 25 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's call the length 2x and the width 5x. Since perimeter can be calculated by multiplying the sum of the length and width by 2 we can write:

2 * (2x + 5x) = 70

2 * (7x) = 70

7x = 35

x = 5 which means the length is 2 * 5 = 10 and the width is 5 * 5 = 25.
