Area=πr^2

 find the area then divide by 8

we know that diameter=2radius or diameter/2=radius so
12=diameter
12/2=radius=6
subsitute
area=π(6)^2
area=36π
divide 36π by 8
36π/8=18π/4=9π/2π=4.5π
area of one section is 4.5π square feet or if we aprox pito 3.14159 then we get
4.5(3.14159)=area=14.1372 square feet or 14.14 square feet

What is the relative frequency of plastic buttons with four holes? Round to the nearest hundredth, if needed.
Anna71 [15]
Relative frequency of plastic buttons with four holes is 28/80 = 0.35

Relative frequency of plastic buttons with two holes is 15/80 = 0.1875
Relative frequency of wooden buttons with two holes is 34/80 = 0.425
Relative frequency of wooden buttons with four holes is 3/80 = 0.0375

0.35 + 0.1875 + 0.425 + 0.0375 = 1

Evaluate 33/5 - 1/10
azamat

Answer:

\large\boxed{\dfrac{13}{2}=6\dfrac{1}{2}=6.5}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the different denominators.

The common denominator is 10.

\dfrac{33}{5}=\dfrac{33\cdot2}{5\cdot2}=\dfrac{66}{10}

We can subtract these fractions now.

\dfrac{33}{5}-\dfrac{1}{10}=\dfrac{66}{10}-\dfrac{1}{10}=\dfrac{66-1}{10}=\dfrac{65:5}{10:5}=\dfrac{13}{2}\\\\\dfrac{13}{2}=\dfrac{12+1}{2}=6\dfrac{1}{2}
