The answer would be 2.4 meters per second. To find this, you would divide the 50 meters by 21 seconds. It equals 2.380952, and rounds to 2.4m/s.

Answer:

2.4 meter per second

Step-by-step explanation:

A swimmer swam the 50-meter freestyle in a time of 21 seconds.

Since a swimmer swam in 21 seconds = 50 meters

To calculate his speed in 1 second we will divide the total distance by the total time.

Therefore, he swam in 1 second =  \frac{50}{21}

                                                     = 2.380952 rounded to 2.4 meter/sec

The speed of the swimmer is 2.4 meter per second.

Work out the area of this circle.
mylen [45]

→Answer:

50.3cm^2

→Step-by-step explanation:

Well the formula for the area of a circle is \pi r^2.

→Given information

Pi is 3.142

radius is 4 cm

answer must be rounded to the nearest tenth

____________________________________________________________

So now we have to plug in the given information into the following formula \pi r^2.

(3.142)(4)^2

So now we have to solve this formula using PEMDAS.

So 4 squared is 16 and 16*3.142 is 50.272cm^2.

The question clearly states the given answer must be rounded into the nearest tenth so 50.272 is 50.3 cm^2.

PLEASE HELP! NO LINKS! TEN POINTS!

please explain it if you can!
Nata [24]
I think the answer would be 112cm.

To find the area of the triangle you need to do basexheight divided by 2.
8x10 divided by 2 = 40

To find the area of the rectangle
12x6=72

40+72= 112cm

I’m not sure if it’s right but I hope this helps.
