What impact did the introduction of smallpox have on the growth of African slavery

It made a great impact because slaves were already weak, they weren't properly taking care of. They were constantly working and they owners would not care if they were sick so therefore with them being outside all the time working it was easier for slaves to get smallpox and die possibly.
