Avaricious or the dumbed up version a person who is greedy to have such a desire for something tangible or powerful that you almost do anything for it avaricious is a word for the extremely greedy

Well the mood is dark and mysterious. for mood there is realy not only one set answer tho because u could put multiple words In for the vibe it gives off, it's really just how the poem makes the reader feel. the tone is serious. you can tell by the narrator's usage of the words "darkly rebel to my work."
