If x and y are inversely related then :

\bigstar\;\; \boxed{\mathsf{x \propto \dfrac{1}{y}}}

\bigstar\;\; \boxed{\mathsf{\dfrac{x_1}{x_2} = \dfrac{y_2}{y_1}}}

Given :  x₁ = 5 and x₂ = 15 and y₁ = 2 and y₂ = y

Substituting the values, We get :

:\implies \mathsf{\dfrac{5}{15} = \dfrac{y}{2}}

:\implies \mathsf{\dfrac{1}{3} = \dfrac{y}{2}}

:\implies \mathsf{y = \dfrac{2}{3}}

:\implies  y = 0.67

<u>Answer</u> : When x = 15 :\implies y = 0.67

Vertex: (-2,1)

Maximum or Minimum: The graph has minimum point and gives minimum value because the minimum point gives the least y-value. That's why it is called minimum.

End of behavior:

When x approaches positive infinity, f(x) will approach positive infinity.

When x approaches negative infinity, f(x) will approach positive infinity as well.

Why no solution:

The graph doesn't intercept any x-axis. Therefore the graph doesn't have any solutions.

y-intercept: (0,5)

describe shape of the graph:

The graph decreases when x<0 and increases when x>0.

x<0 is concave up but decreasing

x>0 is concave up but increasing

We can calculate EEE, the amount of euros that has the same value as DDD U.S. dollars, using the equation E=\dfrac{17}{20}DE=
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

0.85 Euros have the same amount as 1 U.S dollar.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The equation E= \frac{17}{20}D

To find : Number of Euros which has same value as D U.S. dollar ?

Solution :

The equation E= \frac{17}{20}D

Where, E= amount of Euros

D= amount of U.S dollar.

Now for 1 U.S dollar we put D=1,

E= \frac{17}{20}(1)

E= \frac{17}{20}

E= 0.85

Therefore, 0.85 Euros have the same amount as 1 U.S dollar.
