Answer: c. women's suffrage.

The Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens on the basis of sex. Therefore, it effectively established women's suffrage. It was adopted on August 18, 1920.

The amendment effectively overruled Minor v. Happersett (1875). In the case Leser v. Garnett (1922), the Supreme Court rejected claims that the amendment was unconstitutionally adopted.

The reforms of the Nineteenth Amendment enact Women's Suffrage Movement.

Further Explanation:

The 19th amendment was enacted on 18 August 1920 which declares that no citizens of the United States shall be denied the right to vote based on sex. This amendment gives powers to the woman to vote in the elections. In western countries especially the USA there has been widespread women's suffrage movement led by the National American Woman Suffrage Association. In their long struggle continued for the decade women’s rights activist met with opposition from Anti-Suffrage activists. The origin of the woman suffrage movement comes from the Seneca Falls convention of 1848.

This was the first convention of women's right held in the United States. The first suffrage organisation was created in 1869. N.W.S.A- National Women’s Suffrage Organisation was founded by Susan B.Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. During the time of the 1870s, woman activist started voting at the polling places and wherever the voting was rejected their activist file lawsuits. In 1875 the case of Minor versus Happersett, Supreme Court rejected the suffrage to anyone.

With this judgement, the leaders of the woman's movements were disappointedand they adopted different other strategies to bring the attention by organising drives and asking to pass the amendment in the Constitution for demanding woman’s right to vote.

They launched the campaign at the state level. All these efforts became successful only with the ratification of the19th amendment.

If you could create your own version of the school system what would you change and why?
Bogdan [553]
I would change the homework / school work system system because a lot of homework can affect student’s mental health and they won’t have enough time to do normal activities like going outside or taking with their family because they’re too busy with schoolwork.
