US modern culture has a hard time in the rewarding and stress release part of our lives. Our society has run rampant with clinical depression and anxiety, when most of the time it is within our control in how we react to the world around us. Events such as breaking a coffee mug can set someone off to have endless stress for the rest of the day. Stressors such as change, loss, and possibly even reflection of the past could cause unnecessary anxiety and inner dissatisfactions with ourselves and our lives. when these could easily be avoided by changing our mindset, which in a clinical setting it would be call cognitive behavioral therapy, or cbt.
