Krystal went To the carry out to purchase some items. She purchased four bottles of pop, three candy bars, and two bags of chips

. The pop was $1.25 per bottle in the candy bars were $.90 each. Crystal could not find the price of the bag of chips. Crystal had a coupon for $1.50 that she used. Write an equation to determine crystals total bill (T) given the cost of one bag of chips.

Answer:

Equation to determine crystals total bill (T) =(7.7+2x) - 1.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Number of bottles of pop purchased = 4

Number of candy bars purchased =  3

Number of chips bag  purchased = 2

Cost of per bottle of pop = $1.25

Cost of per candy bar = $.90

Cost of the coupon  = $1.50

To Find :

Equation to determine crystals total bill (T) given the cost of one bag of chips = ?

Solution:

Let the cost of one chips bag be x

Cost of  4 bottles of pop

=>4 \times 1.25

=>$ 5

Cost of 3 candy bars

=>3 \times 0.90

=>$ 2.7

Cost of 2 bags of chips

=>2 \times x

=>$ 2x

Now the total cost of the bill is

T = 5 + 2.7+ 2x

T =7.7+2x

Also Krystal had a coupon worth $1.50, the cost of the ticket will be

T =(7.7+2x) - 1.50

The coordinates of midpoint M and endpoint Q of a segment are M(–7, 8) and Q(–19, 30). Find the coordinates of the other endpoin
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the midpoint formula to solve:

M=(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

We know the midpoint and one set of coordinates, so filling those in:

(-7,8)=(\frac{x+(-19)}{2},\frac{y+30}{2})

Since the -7 is the x coordinate of the midpoint, we set the x part of the equation equal to -7 and solve for x, and then do the same for y. The 2 equations are:

-7=\frac{x-19}{2}  and  8=\frac{y+30}{2}  We solve each one of these to get the x and y coordinates of the other endpoint. In both cases, multiply both sides of the equations by 2 and then solve by either adding or subtracting.

-14 = x - 19 so

5 = x

16 = y + 30 so

-14 = y

The coordinates of the other endpoint are (5, -14)

A pair of pants was 40% off the original price. The sale resulted in a $36 discount. What was the original price before the sale
Mama L [17]

Answer:

$90.00

Step-by-step explanation:

40% of What is 36?

40/4 = 10 (10%)

36/4 = 9 (9 is 10% of the answer we are looking for)

Multiply both answers (9 and 10) by each other.

You get 90
