Agusto C. Sandino was Nicaraguan revolutionary, he rebelled against US military occupation of Nicaragua. He was labelled as bandit by the US government but is considered national hero in Latin America. He waged a guerilla war against US marine corps . The US withdrew from  Nicaragua in 1933 when Juan Bautista  became the president of Nicaragua. He was killed by  National Guard Forces in 1934 by the forces of Anastasio Samoza. After his death Sandanista's legacy was carried on by Sandanisa National Liberation Front and it overthrew Samoza government in 1979.
