I don't know if it's right but this is what I did. the rounding might be a little different.


(1 + 3.5)  \div 2 \times x = 8.1
4.5   \div 2 = 2.3
2.3x = 8.1
8.1 \div 2.3 = 3.5
x=3.5 cm.
