Why did Justinian want to reform the law of the Byzantine empire

English

Goryan [66]4 years ago

Justinian wanted to reform the law of the Bizantine Empire since society in Ancient Rome needed to be reorganized, meaning that some laws in Ancient Rome were contradictory and antiquated.

As a consequence, he implemented the Justinian Code. For example, one of the laws he established includes the idea that a person is convicted until proven guilty. And this idea continues to be implemented in modern laws at present.

Hi Gary!

Hi Aileen,

Thank you for reaching out to me! Since I have a grandmother myself, I know that she personally finds sewing to be a great hobby. Getting a sewing machine could make her more engaged with activities, and even create great articles of clothing for you! I honestly don’t believe that a mobile phone would be the best purchase, since I am assuming she is more comfortable with her hold fashioned style. A handbag could be nice, but again I think touching her sense of style wouldn’t be the best idea. I hope this helped you get an idea on what to get for her birthday, good luck Aileen!

What revision should be made to maintain parallel structure?
Nikitich [7]

In order to maintain the parallel structure sentence (3) should be revised to read, “My next stop will be old Mr. Butterworth’s for a chat with my favourite neighbour.”

In this passage each sentence starts in a similar way as the author has decided to list each activity he/she will do in his/her visit to the home town by using “My first stop….”, “My second stop….”, ““My next stop….” and “My last stop…” at the beginning of each sentence. In addition, the writer resorts to the simple future tense when he/she says what he/she will do in each stop and then he/she adds the purpose of theses action.

For example: “…., my first stop will be my uncle’s old gas station to fill the car”. In this fragment, the author starts his/her list of activities with the phrase “my first stop”, then he/she continues with a simple future tense to explain what he/she is going to do “will be my uncle’s old gas station” and finally he says the aim of this stop “to fill the car”. This grammatical structure is repeated in the subsequent sentences.

Practice does not make perfect, only perfect Practice Makes perfect.
Archy [21]

Answer: i agree

Explanation:     It CAN apply to life. Practice is never perfect,  and perfect practice doesnt always make Perfect. EXAMPLE; Albert Einstein, he was a bad kid in his school grades, but yet, he became the Most smartest man in the world. It took him a million tries to do (figure out) his work, it wasnt exactly perfect besides all the practice, but he managed. So yes, it can apply to life in some way, hope this helps.

zaharov [31]
One is -sub
An example if a word with the directional prefix -sub is submarine
How it changes the root word (marine) is, marine means: of, found in, or produced by the sea .
Submarine means:<span>a warship with a streamlined hull designed to operate completely submerged in the sea for long periods, equipped with an internal store of air and a periscope and typically armed with torpedoes and/or missiles
So marine has to do with a person, while submarine has to do with a warship

Hope it helped
