Vague Language
A narrative essay is one in which the author tells a story, usually about a memorable event in the author's life. Since the essay is in the form of a story, it is important to use language that appeals to the reader's senses. Descriptive language and specific language will also help the reader to picture what is happening in the story. Vague language should not be used. It makes it harder for the reader to visualize the events of the story and understand what is happening.
An example is given through spoken word whereas an illustration is some type of artwork - a painting, drawing etc.
Like autobiographies, diaries are written in the first person piont of view.
Hope this helps. ^_^
